Anxiety — Tori Celeste

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Tori Celeste uses the mediums of digital and traditional art to explore the concepts of isolation, existentialism, and human emotions. Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, Celeste gains inspiration from her own perception of the world and personal experiences with anxiety, grief, and feelings of melancholy. Being a lover of horror and macabre, she tends to embed those elements into her work. Celeste’s work ponders the complexity of raw expression as they aim to use imaginary creatures to portray these concepts of melancholy.
